The City of Greenville currently has 10 public parks with total land acreage in excess of 140 acres as well as the Flat River Scenic Trail. The parks include a wide variety of uses, natural resources, as well as neighborhood access. Each park offers various amenities that will satisfy the needs of your entire family. Other amenities available in the City of Greenville are Canoe, Kayak and Tube Rentals, Baldwin Lake Beach, and various Trails.
NOTE: City parks are available for rental during the Spring, Summer and Fall, from April through October 31st. Rental includes private use of the pavilions only. Under no circumstance may an entire park be reserved for private use. Canoe, Kayak & Tube Rentals!
Alan G. Davis Park consists of 82 acres which include: 3 softball fields, 1 little league field, 6 pickleball courts, a community built play-structure, a picnic area with pavilion, a concession/restroom building, nature trails and mountain bike trail. The park is located off from Walnut Street behind the Greenville Area Community Center.
Baldwin Lake Beach
Baldwin Lake Beach is a 2 acre beach with 500 feet of frontage on Baldwin Lake. It is the only public swimming opportunity available for area residents.
Acquisition of grant funds from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation has provided recent (summer 2009) improvements to the Baldwin Lake Beach area. The Access to Recreation project provided reconstruction of the parking area, re-nourishment of beach sand, lawn and tree plantings. Universally accessible sidewalks, a barrier free ramp with railings for access to the beach and water provides a unique barrier free access to recreation opportunities for all people of all abilities. Baldwin Lake Beach is located on the west side of Baldwin Lake along Baldwin Lake Drive.

The Greenville Community Center Pavilion is available for rent and is a great location to host a birthday party or reunion. It is equipped with 8 picnic tables and trash containers. The pavilion is conveniently located near the Danish Kingdom Play Structure, pickleball courts, softball fields, and a mountain bike trail.

Optimist Camp (Formally Camp Wah Wah Tay See)
Optimist Camp is a 19-acre camp and park located in the heart of the City of Greenville overlooking Baldwin Lake. Some of the camp highlights include a lodge, a universally accessible playground, an outdoor basketball court, an outdoor volleyball court, semi-permanent tents, shower and restroom facilities, a camp fire, and a paved trail connecting the camp to Baldwin Lake and the Flat River Trail.
The lodge is a large modern facility, equipped with a commercial size kitchen, a gas fire place, handicap accessible restrooms, platform tents, a large deck overlooking beautiful Baldwin Lake. The lodge is an ideal location for meetings, scout or school events, wedding receptions, showers, reunions, etc.
The camp is for special needs children during the summer. During the rest of the year the camp holds various community activities. The camp is located on South Street between Baldwin Street and Marvel Drive.

Danish Kingdom Park & Playground
The Danish Kingdom Play Structure is a 14,000-square foot wooden play structure, designed to entertain people of all age and ability. Leap onto the roped bridge, plow up the stairs to a rocket-shaped turret, wiggle through several crawl spaces and tubes, climb a swinging rope, stop to play a game of tic tac toe, balance on the swinging balance beam, speed down several slides, play music with chimes, zip across the zip line and get dizzy on the tire swing while enjoying murals of Hans Christian Andersen stories. There is sure to be something for everyone at this enormous park.
The playground has lots of picnic table so you can enjoy a family picnic. Indoor restrooms are available during Spring and Summer months; port-a-john facilities are available during the Fall and Winter months.

Friendship House Park
Friendship House Park is a one-acre linear park located on the Flat River across from Jackson’s Landing. The park has picnic tables and a paved walkway. The park includes an accessible walkway joining Washington Street with Benton Street. You can access this quaint park from E. Oak St.

Pearl Street Park is .7 acre neighborhood park in the northern portion of the city. The park has 3 basketball courts, a picnic shelter, and a playscape. The park is located on Pearl Street between 2nd and 3rd Street. There is limited parking and portable restroom facilities available. The pavilion is available for rental during the Spring, Summer and Fall, from April through October 31st. Rental includes private use of the pavilion only. Under no circumstance may an entire park be reserved for private use.

Tower Mountain
Tower Mountain is a 10-acre park located at the intersection of Baldwin and South Streets. The park is hugely popular in the winter months. The park includes a sledding/tubing hill as well as a skiing/snowboarding hill. Both hills are serviced with a single towrope to pull users up the hill.
There is ample parking off Baldwin Street, just south of South Street. Portable restroom facilities are available. This parking lot also serves the Baldwin Street trail-head of the Flat River Trail.

Tower Park
Tower Riverside Park is an one acre park located Downtown Greenville along the Flat River. The picturesque park is accessible from the Fred Meijer Flat River Trail and provides access for fishing. The park includes picnic tables, a paved walkway, and the Rotary Bandstand Gazebo and the ‘Little Mermaid’ sculpture. Tower Riverside Park provides a beautiful setting for an outdoor wedding and graduation open house. Free concerts are held weekly in the summer months. The park is accessible from Franklin Street and Lafayette Street.

Heritage Park is a small green space located at the intersection of M-57 and M-91 in front of City Hall. This quaint park is home to the acclaimed Marshall Fredericks “Ugly Duckling Fountain,” donated by the Frederick Meijer Family in memory of Hendrik and Gezina Meijer. The paved walkways, flagpoles, benches, fountain, and an Indian Trail Historical Marker is a lovely back drop for public ceremonies throughout the year.
Jackson’s Landing is located on the Flat River, just east of the M-57 Washington Street Bridge. This 1.3-acre park provides access to the river for both canoeing and fishing. The park serves as an access point to the Fred Meijer Flat River Trail as it passes through the park and crosses under M-57 bridge. The park has ample parking and portable restroom facilities.

Tower Park
Tower Park is a 22-acre park located in the southern part of the city in the vicinity of Baldwin and South Streets. The park is largely covered with hardwoods, primarily oak trees. Pedestrian trails link the park to the Fred Meijer Flat River Trail and has picnic areas, a portable restroom facility and ample parking. In 2017, the park’s popularity skyrocketed with the addition of an 18 hole Disc Golf Course. The course has become a favorite among the Disc Golf community.
