    Celebrate Greenville’s Danish heritage with authentic Danish food, a Hans Christian Andersen play, the Grand Dansk Parade, Family Fun Day, Lake of Illumination, Fireworks, the Lego contest (originated in Denmark) and much more!

  • Farmer’s Market

    Farmer's Market 1The Greenville Farmer’s Market is open every Tuesday and Friday from 8:00a.m. – 1:00pm located at 1325 W. Washington Street.   The market provides fresh, locally grown fruits and veggies.  Most vendors accept SNAP/Kent County Pilot Program/WIC Project Fresh/Senior Project Fresh. The Greenville Farmer’s Market is also a participant of the Double Up Food Bucks program.   For information to participate as a vendor in the market please call the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce at 616-754-5697.

    In July. This outdoor 3-on-3 basketball tournament is for young and old alike. Greenville welcomes around 1500

  • Hometown Christmas Celebration

    Annual Events - Hometown Christmas


    The first Friday in December brings a warm, hometown Christmas parade. Local retailers open their doors with holiday specials and refreshments – they even give away a HUGE gift basket to one lucky shopper!

    This is a FREE event for all area children and their families. Children and adults will have an opportunity to explore various trucks from all over the county.

  • Tour De Donut

    Held by Klackle Orchards, the Le Tour de Donut is an “appetizing” fun bike race with 2 rest stops where racers can get water, cider, fruit, first-aid, use the bathroom and get delectable DONUTS.  For every donut eaten a tempting 3 minutes are deducted from your official elapsed finish time to arrive at your adjusted placement time.  The 30 mile road race follows lightly used rural roads and also portions of a paved scenic bike trail.  It’s all paved, so bring your best bike.


  • Tri-Greenville

    This is an early season triathlon that is well suited as a training event for the seasoned triathlete as well as an entry level distance for those who are just deciding to plunge into their first event.  The event is centered on Greenville’s Beautiful Baldwin Lake and features a unique spectator experience from an elevated viewpoint above the lake and transition area.
